FUSIO For Surgeons
FUSIO offers a simple, reproducible, and stable alternative to standard non-instrumented fusion techniques in the posterior spine.
Used by surgeons nationwide for minor spinal instability following laminectomy, adjacent level disease, facet arthrosis, and as an adjunct to lumbar interbody procedures, FUSIO is rapidly becoming the facet fusion system of choice.
FUSIO is the only facet dowel system that uses a technique based approach to prevent dowel migration.
Other systems put their faith in "special" features on their bone dowels in an attempt to prevent dowel migration...the FUSIO system places prevention of dowel migration in the hands of the surgeon!
Using the FUSIO proprietary Anti-Migration Reamer, the surgeon creates a void deep in the facet while leaving a posterior cortical rim intact. It is this cortical rim that prevents migration of the allograft dowel promoting spinal stability, pain relief, and an environment for boney fusion.
